A Young Person's Guid to "Self"

I remember Grady Nutt as a great humorist and a regular on HEE-HAW. He was also a great pastor with plenty of words of wisdom. This work is an example of that. It is aimed primarily at young people seeking to find out "who they are" and has a dsitinctly Christian message. It could quite possibly be of use to older folk as well but seems intended for teens. The whole of the book is built around one sentence: "I am a person of worth created in the image of God to relate and to live!" The various sections of the book break the sentence down into small bits to interpret them. (I am, a person, of worth, created in the image of God, to relate, and to live) Within each section, he uses simple language and simple ideas to promote the truth of the basic statement. This is not a dense book. The pages are small and the full sized text is broken into small bites, each conveying an idea. He fits into 83 pages what would only take about a dozen in a traditionally laid out book. It is effective. The style reeks of the 1970s but is no less effective for that. This would be a great one for all teens and anyone facing an identity crisis.
