Behind Bella: The Amazing Stories of Bella and the Lives It's Changed

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the many wonderful stories that served as the background for making this amazing, encouraging film.

After reading this book I loved the movie even more. This book will encourage and inspire as you read of the courage, perseverance, commitment, and divine intervention it took to create this incredible piece of cinema.

While I may be the author of "Behind Bella," I want to share how inspiring it was to work on the book. I was familiar with many of the stories from behind-the-scenes, but once I began interviewing cast and crew members, it quickly became clear that this was a movie touched by providence, beginning with actor Eduardo Verastegui's original decision to pursue only wholesome acting projects. That decision set in course a series of remarkable events that led Eduardo to meet the film's primary writer and director, Alejandro Monteverde, and producer Leo Severino, and financiers Eustace and Sean Wolfington. What I wasn't aware of when I started the book project was the remarkable impact that the film had on those who had made it, and on those who saw it. Those are the never-before-told stories told in "Behind Bella." Filled with incredible photographs from the film and the making-of the film, those who've seen "Bella" will find the pictures and the stories inspiring, and those who've never seen the movie will be introduced to a story they won't soon forget.

This is a gorgeous coffee table photo book with dozens of great pics from the movie BELLA, as well as many other pics connected with the making of it, the behind the scenes, famous people who supported it, common folks who were deeply affected by the film's moving, life-affirming story. But besides the fabulous photos, the stories are truly amazing. Be they the personal stories of the actors, actresses, director, producers and all involved with the film, or the stories of those whose lives were impacted by this film in some real way - this is a very inspiring book. Even if you have not seen the movie. But if you love the movie, this book is a must have. What a treasure.

What can I say about Behind Bella? My subject title says it all: it's the perfect companion to the film. After viewing the film one but cannot help to get lost in all the behind the scenes stories that went into making Bella. The pictures alone are worth it. Do yourself a favor buy Bella the movie and include Behind Bella as well.
