Before Book One: Listening Activities for Prebeginning Students of English

This is a book that truly assumes the student has zero knowledge or skill in the English language. Moreover it is perfect with students who are not literate, are lacking in their literacy skills, or are new to our modern Western alphabet. It is 100% visual, pictures and graphics that go along with a tape for listening comprehension, so students will not be baffled by any written information on the pages. Only later in the book is the written language actually briefly introduced. The last page has some primers for practicing writing the alphabet.
