This book is wonderful! The book starts in Ancient Egypt and then goes to Ancient China. We then get to see a bed in Europe during the Middle Ages and the seventeenth century. When I was reading this book with my little girl (Kindergarten level) we took a few seconds to find every country on the map. It was a fun way to review her continents. The book also got her thinking about history.

A sweet, bedtime book for shared reading with K-1 students and their parents. I think I would have preferred humans, not animals in clothing as the subject of the illustrations. It contains excellent color illustrations, and I would recommend this to the 2nd and 3rd grade students, as well as the teachers and parents
