This garndening book is very well worth the price and time invested. Its well written, easy and quick to read. I read it cover to cover. Unlike some gardening books which are reference books, this one will help the gardener who is trying to create a design that is personnal, charming and relevent to the space. Its all about creating the right mood and look for the site and tastes of the gardener. I was inspired and more confident to move forward in my landscape project.

I bought this book because it was recommended by a friend. Once I got it home, I read it and re-read it. Besides beautiful photos, this book is about garden design, especially regarding focal points. It's wonderful information presented in a way that is easy to understand. Once I read this book, which I still refer to often, I look at my own garden in different ways. It's seems like a discovery of a garden secret. It can take your garden to a higher level of enjoyment.
