I have read through this book 10 times now and every time my faith and relationship with Jesus deepens and strengthens. You will learn how to hold your thoughts captive and renew your mind, practically through your everyday life experiences as you submit your life and will to God and his Will in your moment-by-moment choices. I have lead this as a Bible Study in my church for 4 years now and seen the effects of its practical applications literally transform the participants before my very eyes. If you want to grow, be challenged, and truly live as God intended you to...this study will do as it's title states!

This is a book that you'll have to read with a lot of prayer. The Devil will fight you and try to keep you from finishing and comprehending this book, but it's worth it to stick it out in the end. Once you get into it, and allowed the Lord to bind Satan, you're going to have a hard time putting this book down! Nancy Missler takes you on a Biblical step-by-step journey to renewing your mind. If you are dealing with hurt, hate, bitterness, or having a hard time forgiving yourself, you need to read this book! God wants us to have a renewed mind, and this book can help to show you how!

So many people profess to be a Christian but what they say differs from how they act. I found this book so helpful in understanding that once you've become a born again believer, it doesn't stop there. Yes, you will go to Heaven when you die but in the meantime we need to grow and understand what it really means to have the Holy Spirit within us and to live that life out in this present world. I think more Christians should read this book.

This book is a wonderful book on how to retrain those old thought patterns that are damaging to you in your walk with Christ. She relates the Old Testament Temple to our bodies and our spirits and helps you to not take in thoughts that may damage you. It's a great book, and I recommend it highly, especially in a group setting. If you can get the tapes, do. They will help in studing in a group setting.
