This book is delightfully put together - the colorful photos, mainly of children playing with their faithful pets, are carefully chosen. The rhymes that accompany the art spreads are a joy to read. Interestingly, Barney does not play a big role in the text nor photos, which is also a joy. This book is a great way to prod your child to read and introduce the little ones to pets.
