Barbie and Kelly's Special Day

We have gone through thousands of books from the time my daughter was born until now, when she is almost 4. However, we still go back to this book and my daughter still loves it. it was well worth the money and I highly recommend this book, especially if you have a 'girly' girl, like I do.

This is a really great Barbie book for younger girls. The flaps are really great and the "real" pictures are wonderful. This book is a good teaching tool (counting, colors, shapes, etc.) and a really a great sharing book.

Surprisingly, my 20-month old daughter owns nothing else with Barbie on it except for this book. Still, she loves to pull this book off the shelf, saying "Barbie!" and wants to sit and look at this book with me. It has been her #1 book of choice for several weeks now. Each page covers a different theme, animals, numbers, colors, opposites, toys, etc. The size and shape of the flaps varies and the colors are bright and vivid, just what you would expect from a Barbie product.

This is a wonderful book! It has bright colorful "live" pictures, and really is educational too, as it helps children to remember their colors and work on their counting skills & shapes. My daughter received this book as a gift almost a year ago and still loves it. She never tires of counting all of the plates in Barbies kitchen or looking for all of the pink stuff in Skipper's bedroom. This is a book that is fun and one I would recommend for any little girl who loves Barbie!
