Bad Blood (A Blood Coven Vampire Novel)

This is my favorite Blood Coven book since BOYS THAT BITE. For some reason I prefer the stories from Sunny's point of view over the ones from sister Rayne point of view even though their good too. In this book Sunny finds herself on a emotional roller coaster as she suspect that Jane of Oxford is a lying conniving back stabber with more up her sleeve that she lets on and a trip to Vegas for the biting ceremony proves that she's right. While Rayne is busy using a fake ID to hit the gambling tables, Sunny is trying to keep her boyfriend while getting to know her new step sister. The character names like Crystal and Stormy fits right in with those of Sunny and Rayne in the series.

No spoiler. Here let just say I never stopped Enjoying this book!It took me 6 hour to read it in 1 sitting. And I never enjoyed a book more I still hurt from laughing.So I will let that slip the book has very funny scenes.And some tears for spice.

I actually liked this book! took so long to finally read it but was worth it i hope to see another book following this one! its great must read!

I really love all the Blood Coven books! I really feel like Mari Mancusi is a really great author! When she writes, she captures the reader and it makes you want to read more of her books! Bad Blood is the 4th book of the Blood Coven series. I would suggest any new readers to the series read the first 3 books and then read bad blood! Its just a book for people who love Vampire Academy or Twilight. But I would say this book is way better then the Twilight saga. Sunny is a pure blood normal American teen who has accepted that vampire exist with a calm demeanor even as she is the readers prime escort into a fascinating sub-culture that resides within the greater society. Volunteer blood donors insure the edict of not killing humans is enforced. Sunny is somewhat hurt that Magnus blows away her concerns rejecting the initial circumstantial evidence she provides without listening. She vows to save him anyway and find a mortal teenage male who she could care for. Although campy and amusing, the latest Blood Coven young adult urban fantasy (see Stake That, Girls That Growl and Boys That Bite) is a splendid vampire tale. Harriet Klausner
