Baby Animals: Essential Preschool Learning

My daughter recieved this fat board book as an Easter present when shen't even a year old yet. Now's she's 2 1/2, and she STILL loves it. I love it, too, because it's not only filled with clear, vivid photographs of animals (dogs, cats, polar bears, many types of birds, rhinos, giraffes, lambs, and much, MUCH more), but it actually gives beginning lessons on nature. Your child will learn (for example) that elephants live in herds and that baby elephants are called calves and are cared for by their mommy and aunts. All the language is very kid-friendly, and it's so nice to find a board book that does more than teach basic animal names and sounds.
