Good Book, wish it had more pictures of nursery rooms

Good book, but was looking for more nursery ideas and since this book covers all rooms a baby uses - your master at the beginning, kitchen, play space, older rooms ... etc., it didn't have that many nursery examples. The cover is my favorite and really the only room I needed for inspiration (there isn't more of this room inside the book).

beautiful!

My baby is still on the way, but I love this book! It is an inspiration for my whole house, not just the baby's room. Simple, bright, light children's rooms without a bunch of corny murals, matchy matchy stuff from the baby superstore, or overpriced puffy bedding. I got this book from the library last week and I think I've got my nursery all planned out!

Great Ideas

This book offers up a lot of great suggestions when it comes to decorating a baby's room. Definately worth the purchase.

Great Idea Book

One of the many things that change in your life when the baby comes is that he or she needs a room. (This is besides the fact that your whole life gets turned upside down.) All of a sudden there's a new person in the house. A person with different requirements. Furniture needs to be different: a crib at first, then smaller chairs, storage (huge amounts of storage for diapers, for toys), and probably different decorations. This book, by a former editor of Homes and Gardens talks about some of the ways you'll need to change your homes. Some of the things she talks about are things you'll notice that you've already done. Some of the things are good ideas that you'll want to implement. Some of the things she does just don't go far enough -- for instance I've always thought that having an eating area for the child that you can hose out once in a while seemed like a good idea. Great idea book for the new mommy or even for daddy. Maybe he can build some of these things.
