Avatar: The Last Airbender – Smoke and Shadow Part Three (Zuko Must Save The Fire Nation)

Avatar: The Last Airbender – Smoke and Shadow Part Three displays the showdown between Zuko and Azula once again. Zuko demands that Azula release Kiyi and the rest of the children, but Azula strikes Zuko. Aang saves Zuko, but Zuko reveals some disturbing information: Azula is at full power again. Suki and Ty Lee attempt to stop Azula but fail. Zuko is pained to tell Ursa and Noren that Azula stole Kiyi from under his nose. Zuko is informed that 13 children have been kidnapped from the Fire Nation, and his citizens are panicking. Mai comforts Zuko by hugging him in front of Aang, Suki, Ty Lee, and Kei Lo. Zuko leans on Mai and admits he’s worried. Mai promises Zuko that they will get all the children back, including Kiyi. Zuko confirms that Azula is the one behind this plot. Mai admits to Zuko that Ukano is the leader of the New Ozai Society. Zuko questions Mai until he learns the motive behind her decisions. Zuko commands his soldiers to search every house until they find Ukano and the Safe Nation Society. Aang tells Zuko not to do that because it will only make the situation worse. Aang asks for a chance to talk to Ukano, but Zuko refuses to listen to the Avatar this time. Zuko orders Suki and Ty Lee to escort Aang out of the room. Aang is frustrated with his best friend but stops complaining when Suki says they should act like Sokka and investigate Kiyi’s room. Meanwhile, Ukano and the Kemurikage enter the children’s room with Kiyi. Kiyi shows her feistiness by saying, “Because my big brother is Fire Lord Zuko. When he finds you, he’s gonna beat you to a pulp!” to the Kemurikage. It’s so cute how attached she is to Zuko, calling him Zuzu. While Ukano tells Tom-Tom it isn’t the right time for them to go home, Azula tells the Kemurikage to leave Kiyi alone. The Kemurikage are really Azula and other women who broke out of an institution. Ukano asks for the release of the children, but Azula has other plans. Aang and Suki search Kiyi’s room and find nothing. Ty Lee discovers a secret passage Azula used when playing hide-and-seek with Mai and Ty Lee as kids. At the city gates, Zuko’s men inform the citizens that they cannot leave and their homes are subject to search until they find Ukano and the Safe Nation Society—the group parades around in the streets. When General Mak declares they are under arrest, a riot ensues with the Safe Nation Society, started by Ukano. Kei Lo has to save Mai’s Aunt Mura from the crossfires of the riot. Kei Lo discovers his friend Hing is involved in the riot before they get surrounded by Zuko’s soldiers. Meanwhile, Iroh plans to return to the Fire Nation in an airship. Iroh talks to the crew about returning for the National Tea Appreciation Day, and the conversation is hilarious. Zuko learns about the riot from General Mak. They have arrested several of the Safe Nation Society members and brought them in for questioning. Discovering that Kei Lo has been arrested interrupts Zuko and Mai’s handholding. Zuko wonders whether Kei Lo is a double agent, but Kei Lo knows that Zuko is jealous of his relationship with Mai. Mai convinces Zuko to let Kei Lo go. It’s a slap in the face when Mai hugs Kei Lo in front of Zuko. Aang, Suki, and Ty Lee arrive with some news for Zuko, but he doesn’t want to listen. Aang calls Zuko’s plan stupid and uses an air scooter to “get the Fire Lord’s attention.” Suki, Mai, Ty Lee, and Kei Lo catch up. Aang, Zuko, Mai, and Kei Lo explore the secret passageway Azula and her friends used the previous night while Suki and Ty Lee guard Zuko’s family in the royal palace. Tom-Tom waits for his father to enter when he hears the door click and fights Guri when he makes accusations about Ukano. Kiyi mimics Zuko’s move and concentrates. Aang and Zuko work together to open the wall and discover they are in The Royal Family Graveyard, The Garden of Tranquil Souls, surrounded by Azula and her friends. Iroh finally arrives at the palace to discover Ursa crying, holding Kiyi’s doll. Back with t
