Cool book but my copy smells terrible

The content of this book is great, just black and white pictures but you can see the details fine. My main problem with the copy I got is that it smells really horrible. I’ve tried airing it out a bit but it has this weird stinky cheese smell that is horribly unpleasant.
Black and white images: disappointing

All the images are black and white and the photo quality is grainy. I am so disappointed. This book is of no use to me. The description did state this so it is misleading.
