Attorney Responsibilities and Client Rights: Your Legal Guide to the Attorney-Client Relationship

As the victim of two lawyers, the first one billed $47,000 trying to force my husband into a retainer agreement, the second one, who was supposed to go after the first when he went after us, billed $32,000 behind our back, did absolutely nothing, then presented a bill totally $74,000!!! After looking at the checklist of malpractice situations in the book, I realize the only thing my husband and I were spared was either one of them trying to have sex with either one of us! The third lawyer we engaged to go after the first is terrific. He's done more, for less money, in a very short time and I'm confident of the outcome, or at least a lot more confident. However,we have to go it alone when it comes to the second lawyer, since we're reeling financially from the amount we did pay both of them. I wish I had this book before the whole situation developed, but I'm happy to have it now. I want to make the shyster cry!
