This short book is about the Atkinson-Griffin House near Campbellsville, Kentucky. The home, built by the author's third great-grandparents Joel Dupuy Atkinson and Virginia Griffin Atkinson, was used during the Civil War as a hospital following the Battle of Tebbs Bend. The book also contains information about the Atkinson and Griffin families, as well as information about the battle. Twenty-two color photographs are inserted throughout the book, including photos of the bloodstains on the floor of one of the upstairs bedrooms in the house.
