Funny

Justforkix, the nephew of Vitalstatistix, is sent to the Gaulish village to build character...oops, that's Calvin and Hobbes. Anyway, the courageous Normans on the other hand want to learn the meaning of fear. Asterix, Obelix and the rest of the looney gang must help them.

Asterix and the Normans

I like Asterix and the Normans a lot because, the Normans are very much like the Gauls. Finally Asterix and Obelix have finally met their match.

Very good classic!

One of those adventures you enjoy reading, fun for any kid or adult.

Rolling Menhirs...

Fight or flight, sayings say. Vikings from Norway take this to heart, it seems. They know no fear, and when they do, they believe they will be able to fly. Where will they learn fear? In Gaul, they say, so off they go. At the village in Gaul, Vitalstatistix's nephew, Jusforkix, is visiting. He doesn't know the meaning of courage, but he knows all about music... It's not my favorite, but Asterix #9, "Asterix and the Normans" (1966) gets pretty funny in parts. I like Justforkix.

It's a Norman conquest

The Normans have no fear...so it is practically impossible to cure hiccups...and their names all end in 'af'!...This book is marvellous and will keep you filled with laughter. Buy it! buy it! (Or borrow it from a friend, read it, and then you'll understand why you'll want your own copy)
