Assignment-- Zoraya

Zoraya is a novel in the Sam Durell spy series of the 50's, 60's and 70's. This apparently is a reprint of Aaron's novel. I recall Zoraya as one of the better novels in the series (the earlier installments were the best...Zoraya, Lili Lamaris, Helene, Treason...)Aarons had a gift for weaving the local color of his wonderful locations into his novels. His narrative gift always transported the reader to the locales...in this case its a romp across the Eastern Mediteranean. Even more so than Fleming, his novels were exciting travelogues. I often found myself consulting my atlas, tracking Durell's exploits.If you can find it...grab it...Assignment Zoraya is a fun read.
