Assignment: Rescue

Assignment: Rescue is an exciting true story about a person sent to Germany to get hundreds of men and women to safety.I got into this book very quickly, and was very interested throughout the book.Varian Fry didn't know anything more about a spy than what he had seen in the movies. But he was one of the people who could get into France, where thousands of refugees were hiding. They would be trapped and turn back to the concentration and death camps if he couldn't get them out.I think this book is great, and I think whoever is interested about the events of August 1940, then this is a good book for you.

DETAILED WWII FRENCH UNDERGROUND ACCOUNT

A well written true story of underground spy efforts in France during World War Two.

The spy game

Assignment Rescue is a good book. I gave it 4 stars because it had almost everything. It had suspense which there was a lot of in this book. It also had lots of information on the disaster that happened in that life time. Varian Fry is the main character in this book he doesn't know anything in playing the spy game or outsmarting the Gestapo. He meets lots of people along the way which help him monstrously. Eventually he helped lots of refugees escape out of France and Brittish soldiers. I disliked some of the book because it gets boring at times. I liked most of it because it was informative and entertaining. Overall, the book was awesome and I think most guys would be interested in this book.
