Around Alone

I became aware of this book through her father. After reading the book, I saw the close family connection as the family is mentioned often during the documented around-the-world race. They met up with her at multiple locations at the end of race segments where she had a lay-over. The book is very interesting, well paced and easy to read. She is a marvelous story teller, a brave person, and an excellent sailor. This book is about individual courage and determination; a must read for both young girls and boys.
