Armed and Dangerous: The Hunt for One of America's Most Wanted Criminals

Great book. I could not put it down once I started reading it. William Queen is a wonderful retired law enforcement officer with the ATF and has great stories to tell about his career. I highly recommend this book as well as Under & Alone.

If this had been fiction, I would have said it's unbelievable. I couldn't put the book down! That Mark Stevens could grow marijuana fields in the inaccessable San Bernardino Mountains was in itself mind boggling. The ending was absolutely breathtaking! What a tremendous experience it was to meet a man of William Queen's stature and abilities. I breathed a sigh of relieve that he was on our side. Great photos! He touches, too, on a brutal Nazi group. Chilling! In our free democratic society, it is very important that we understand the inner workings of our agencies. In this sense, this book is an education. 5 stars! I wish I could give it more!

William Queen has done it again! Reading this story is like being at his side as he pursues one of the most unpredictable and dangerous felons in modern times. I read the book in two days and found myself not wanting to let the story and the people go! I just hope that Queen has more stories to tell of his twenty plus years in law enforcement!

Queen has done it again! I don't think I've ever read a book so fast, I just couldn't put it down. If you liked Under and Alone then you will love this book. This is just a really good story, the authors did a very good job of getting you acquainted with the characters and using so much detail that you feel like you're right there beside Queen along for the hunt. I feel like I could probably join the ATF right now. They would ask for my credentials of course and I would be like, "ah, hello, I read both of Bill Queen's books, where do I sign up."

I was blown away by Queen's first book "Under and Alone" and this ATF Agent kept me awake once again with "Armed and Dangerous". You get a real life look at what real law-enforcement types have to go through to do their jobs. You learn that they not only have to fight the bad guys but their bosses so they can go after the bad guys. In this book Queen actually has to get to the 'top of the mountain' to catch a crazy drug dealer that has kept all other law enforcement agencies at bay. A great read.
