Aristotle -Dean of Early Science by Glanville Downey

The book describes the life and times of Aristotle. He was astudent in Athens. He pondered important questions on theevolution of the universe. At one point, he tutored PrinceAlexander-son of Philip of Macedonia. Aristotle dissectedmammals, birds, reptiles, fish and invertebrates. He studiedformal logic and classifications of things into species, genus and larger genus categories. This is an excellent referencework for history buffs.

Philosophy

In doing research on Aristotle, I found this book to be very informative. It gave his history, the works he'd done, how he had gotten started, about his family, basically wanybody that had to research on him should have gotten this book to use. Thank you for carrying it.
