This book tells me many interesting facts about Canada. For example: 1. It is the second largest country in the world. 2. Only 32 million people live in Canada. 3. Canada's average temperature is 21.6 degrees Fahrenheit (-5.8 degrees C) in January and 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21.1 degrees C) in July. 4. Canada has two official languages, French and English. 5. 3/4 of the people from Quebec province have French ancestry. 6. Canadian money is called the dollar but it looks different from the US dollar. It also tells me about Canadian culture, song, and food. It tells me how Canadians celebrate their holidays. For example, on Christmas French- Canadians have a feast after Midnight Mass called the revellion. It's a great book with a lot of information and good pictures. It was easy to read with only some difficult vocabulary words I would suggest this book for a good introduction to Canada.
