Five different thinking skills: analytical thinking, flexible thinking, problem solving, elaborative thinking and creativity. One activity for every day of the school year. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have 13 years teaching experience and I love this book! This book is loaded, and I mean loaded with fun thinking activities. p.9-313 have 1 page of activity, 1 page of answer key. So tons of good stuff. The activities are short and quick. They are perfect for indoor recess days or for something to have out on kids desks when they first come in in the morning. Kids would need to be independent readers probably late second/ early 3rd grade and up to do these on their own, but advanced readers, especially GT first or second graders would enjoy them. Regular 1st or 2nd graders would definitely need guided practice at first.
