I recently was put on a low sodium diet and I needed some help getting started. This cookbook has a lot of recipes that are just for the everyday person. There are so many tips too. I think this is a great source for someone who is looking for easy recipes as well as substitute recipes for things you make now but need to change to make them low sodium. I purchased this book after I was advised to maintain a low salt diet for reasons of cardio-vascular health. Not only have my wife and I fallen in love with many of the recipes, we have benefited from lower blood pressure, more energy and weight loss.

This book has tons of recipes - organized under headings - which make it easy to find something to cook - when you need something new - a great tool for exploring the new world of low - salt. I have followed the recommedations in the book and I have lost 5 pounds in one month - I'm sure that I won't see them again - and I have never felt better - so full of energy!
