Bill Scheidler has illuminated the qualifications and function of an apostle today by approaching the subject from a purely biblical point of view. Apostles compares this biblical view with current apostolic trends found in the church today. If you are a leader or pastor, Apostles will serve as your roadmap to understanding the function of an apostle today.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was refreshing to read something so biblically based. The question of whether or not there are apostles in the church today is a controversial topic but Scheidler handles it well. He goes to the Scriptures and shows that the ministry of the apostle is to continue throughout the church age. In this book the author also presents the ministry of the apostle as that of a servant and not a lord. This the best book that I have read so far concerning the ministry of apostles. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the most insightful books I have read on the subject of apostle. It is very accurate and leaves little room if any to argue to the contrary. I highly recommend this book to those seeking an understanding of the apostolic.
