Another Street, Another Dance

Story of Hester, a woman who faces life with joy, zest and curiosity even when life takes some unhappy turns. Beginning in the 1930's in Glasgow, we follow the little family through the breakup of Hester's second marriage, get a glimpse of Hester's childhood on the isle of Sky, become involved in the life of each child and through it all we come to understand and admire Hester's spirit. Clifford Hanley is a wonderful storyteller and peppered throughout is his unique and joyous sense of humor. A great find!!
