Presents the absurd antics of an animal for each letter of the alphabet, such as "an ape in an airplane isn't about to ask anybody about anything." This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book second-hand for my son after I had taken it out of the library and loved it. It's funny and alliterative, making it a good read for parents (even after the third, "Read it again, Mommy!") The pictures are silly and go well with each letter. For example, letter 'R' has a picture of a rabbit in a boat on a river with a little poem that goes something like, "A rabbit whose rowboat has just run the rapids is very relieved and really should rest." (I may be getting that wrong, but it's close.) It has a very 70's feel to it and I got a kick out of reading this to my son.
