not a boring text book!

i found this book refreshing. most learn language approaches start either too simple (ex. breakfast food) or too difficult/dry (ex. boarding pass/customs). this books starts you off with a friend on a daytrip. i found this approach to enable the language learning to 'take place' in a more typical, yet cultural setting. i also think that it makes the required vocabulary memorizing much more useful and fun!
