A Hilarious Look at Weight Loss

I thought this book was great. The writer uses tasteful humor to drive home points all of us that deal with weight issues can relate to. The diet advice given is simple and common sense, but approached with such a way that it's sort of like "Yeah, I think that I could stick to this". She never bashes anyone for being overweight, and really doesn't put many restrictions upon you about diet or exercise. Her approach is more about baby steps towards better eating, weight loss, and good health. Elecia, MO

I am thrilled to find the best healthy eating book to fit my lifestyle! I finally found the program I can follow and believe in. I am never hungry and finally have the energy to enjoy walking. I am learning basic principles to teach my children healthy food choices. Best of all, I get compliments from my friends that are sooo encouraging! This is the only healthy eating book you will ever need.

A diet book for the long haul

This book is an enjoyable read. Anyone who is a victim of the diet wars will see themself here. The proof of a diet book however is in the weight lost. I lost 12 pounds in three months but even better than that my cholesterol went from 296 to 247 a drop of 49 points and I never went hungry! This book is not about dieting it is about eating the good stuff and losing weight the way you gained it, slowly so you won't put it back on again. I highly recommend this book.

Worked for me!

An easy to follow 10 week plan. Fun to read, sensible & practical. Before reading this book I'd about given up. I thought I'd tried everything. Through this book I learned how to achieve the will power to lose it and keep it off. Don't loan this book to a friend or you won't get it back!

Great book!

I loved this book. The author writes of her tales and woes of dieting all her life, and I couldn't help but nod my head in agreement and complete understandment of what she went through while I read it. She stresses patience and eating the right foods to help you have more energy to exercise. I highly recommend this book if you're tired of dieting and gaining the weight back. You will definetely get a lot out of this great book.
