An Inconvenient Trout

Ohman has obviously spent time fly fishing and observing other fly fishermen. Fly fishing is a complex and potentially frustrating endeavor. Those without a good sense of humor should avoid fly fishing or plan to spend time and money on anger management. All of Jack's books are worth your time.

The author depicts the obcession of fly-fishing and people who are involved in. Each page twitches my nerve and causes gut-twisting laughters. This is not an anecdote-style about fly-fishing. I think I can say it's more like a "what-if?" style along with author's profession as a political cartoonist, which produces too many sarcasm and satires about fly-fishing. What if the fly-fishing competition is on ESPN like a bass tournament?? Fly-shop we should avoid is "CASTOCO" (meaning COSTOCO in real world) and "7X-11" (meaning 7-11). Machismo way of fly-fishing or magazines?? School, therapy, guides, clubs, etc for fly-fishing?? Page goes on and on and each page makes me smirk when nobody is around!! Maybe this is how I am obcessed about fly-fishing, then....I try not be the bad examples that author picks on.... Sorry this may not sound a serious book review but there are too much to say and this is all I can express. Instead the author will tell you what it's all about this book.....just come and get it!!
