Amos: The Story of an Old Dog and His Couch

I'm now 20 years old and in college, but wow did I used to love this book. When I was in elementary school, we had to check out a book from the library every week to get us interested in reading and I loved this book so much that I found myself taking it out every week. As a child I was endlessly entertained at the thought of a dog driving around on his couch every day and wished my dog would do that. I often wondered if he missed and worried about me all day when I was at school. This story is so charming and a MUST HAVE for any child. It's a classic!

We love "Amos: The Story of an Old Dog and His Couch." Our older children grew up with it and our little guys beg us to read it to them at night. We second the comment of one review writer---Amos and his couch blows Clifford out of his Doghouse!Please bring Amos back for more families to enjoy. Our book is "dog-eared" and old, but it is a treasure that we will share with our (years to come...) Grandchildren!

EXCELLENT BOOK! Book filled with such imagination! A child is not the only one who will enjoy this......an adult will also! My boyfriend said that is was his favorite book, so I read it. I have to say that being an animal lover, it brought tears to my eyes. I had to steal it from him so I could let my parents read. Excellent......good luck finding it.

I recently participated in an elementary school "read-to-me-day" in which I read this to several groups. I loved it more everytime I read it. This book is great fun for all ages, even me!
