Amazing and in-depth look into our nation's founding fathers and their doctor

This book has wonderful insights into a time in our country's history when doctors were just getting started with finding cures that really worked. Botanical remedies were mostly scoffed at during this era. But Dr. David Hosack. This book is a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize (History), a Finalist for the National Book Award (Nonfiction), and A New York Times Notable Book of the Year. This book will not disappoint.
