American Battlefields

This is a nice general guide to battles fought on American soil, giving a decent synopsis of events and usually a simple diagram of the battles (I still wish these were better, more detailed). It also delineates where possible the strength/casualties involved. At the end of each entry it tells if the battle area is accessible and what is available there. This feature itself makes it a little more plain what condition some of the sites are in - i.e., if they exist at all. I like these facts but also like that it covers much ground, from various Indian wars to French & Indian to Mexican as well as the already-well-publicized Civil War.
