I received this book as an ARC with no expectations of a positive review. This book brings human trafficking to the forefront. Mary Alford has done it again! This book is the amazing story of a young pregnant women's Escape from human traffickers and the former soldier who, along with his retired military K9, tries to help and protect her. There are so many twists and turns, you don't know where the constant danger will come from next. The story is written so realistically, you feel as if you are there in the middle of the fight for survival. You cannot help but empathize with the main characters as you learn their stories. If you like edge-of-your-seat/can't-put-it-down stories, this book is for you! I received an advance copy and the opinions expressed are all mine.
