Aly & Aj

This book is exactly what a biography should be. It is concise and well written. Its 22 pages of text do a better job of describing them than the 100+ pages of the paperback "Amped Up: Aly & AJ, The Official Biography". Written for 6 to 9-year-olds, it is packed with information and even includes information not included in "Amped Up ..." such as their reasons for moving to and from Seattle. The paper quality is good and the photographs, all recent, are beautiful. As a young children's book, I do not expect it to be as detailed as "Amped Up ...". For example, they moved to Woodinville, a suburb of Seattle, not to Seattle. However, on the first page of first chapter, they mispronounce "Michalka". It is not (mish-AL-kah) but (mish-shock-kah) as AJ explained in a video interview for KOL Radio at Disney World: "The 'L' is silent". This book also has a nice chronology, filmography and discography, glossary, and reference sections. It is ideal for its age group so I gave it a well-deserved 4 stars.
