I am astonished at a prior review in this space, which commented that the book, "Alone but not Lonely," was too much about the author. The book I have read is about life and ways of being alone, not about the author. She uses a few personal experiences, not all her own, as parables to give messages of strength and endurance and joy. I find these interesting and well told as well as valuable. How ironic that the author of that earlier review then proceeds to offer to give us more information about herself. Apparently what she wanted was for us to read her other reviews. I do hope the first review does not keep readers from discovering this truly enjoyable book.
