This book contains a series of short interviews and biographies of religious workers and their interaction with the poor of the Caribbean. Food for the Poor, a nonprofit organization that serves the poor in the Caribbean, sponsored the project and the author. It is amazing to read that those with the least material goods, worst living conditions, and poor health conditions, can be the most faithful of Christians. They survive by their faith in Jesus and their interaction with him through Prayer. You will certainly be moved by these accounts. It would also make a great resource for a Bible study.
