Buying a used book through a third party is always something of a concern, but the seller had an excellent rating, and the book was listed as being in excellent condition. Both turned out to be completely true. His adventures traveling the world are captured in a set of vivid vignettes perfect for that avid birder.

This was purchased as a gift, but before I wrapped it I read four of the essays. Enjoyed them very much and learnd some things. It has some excellent illustrations, too. I'm going to buy a copy for myself. Sorry I haven't read more for this review.
