A road trip becomes the sex drive when Ian convinces his best friends to travel 900 miles with him so he can meet Danielle, an online friend who just might have sex with him. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I discovered "All the Way" after watching the movie "Sex Drive" and noticing it in the credits. I thought the movie had some pretty funny scenes/jokes and decided I would check out the book because of the old axiom of how the book is 100x better than the movie. Not this time. It turns out that the movie was (loosely) based on this novel. Unfortunately, I would have to rate the movie better than the book because of the rather tweenie feel of the novel. The book is nowhere near as daring as the movie was in terms of language, sexuality, comedy, etc. But I must admit that it kept me hooked until the very last page. It becomes extremely obvious towards the end of the book that the target audience is floating around the age of 14. Which isn't a bad thing, necessarily. But I was really hoping that the author was going to surprise me and deliver on a novel that is supposed to remind the reader of his tumultuous youth. The character development is 2-dimensional and the ending is painfully obvious. But I would still recommend this book to anyone who wants to kill some time whilst keeping a few brain cells firing. I will give the author major points for writing a nice, "cute" ending for the protagonist, especially considering it was somewhat lacking in the film version.
Thank you for the great book

The book was a gift from me to a friend in prison. Because they check books before allowing inmates to read them, it took a really long time for him to get the book, but he's still satisfied.
This book is too much fun! Real-life hysterical situations!

Ian, the classic boy-next-door-still-a-virgin-nice-guy, can't seem to 'make it' with the opposite sex like his friend Lance, who picks up adoring girls right and left. Working as a drudge at the donut shop in the mall, Ian wants to redeem his summer by taking it's last weekend to drive from Chicago to South Carolina to meet (and have sex with) a "hottie" sorority girl he met online. His best friends Lance and Felicia get a wind of his intentions and insist on going along for the ride, encouraging Ian's 'makeover' in order to keep up the macho facade he established in his messaging. This first time novel is a perfect delight, portraying hysterical teenage situations and attitudes. It is so well written that even minor characters and circumstances are memorable. This highly entertaining read is fun and endearing, and quite satisfying in the end. You cannot help but feel that you are in the car, too, taking part in this wonderful friendship on a zany ride across the states. Oh, and yes, Ian does go 'all the way', despite the many obstacles they encounter in theri hurry to get there on time.
Laugh Out Loud!!!

Hillarious! I loved this book and could not put it down. Not only is the plot funny but the writing is hillarious. I have never read a book where I actually laughed out loud -- but with this book, i did all the time. I could not put the book down and finished it in two days. Attention parents: it is not one of those slutty teen books either. Not to be an ending spoiler, but this writer, in the end, shows that he has respect for women.
a book that you will never stop laughing.

All the Way is a very well put together book that is ultimatley very hilarious and very realistic. I liked it because i could connect to this book because being a teenager it is sometimes harder to connect with adult-like books. This book just made me laugh and realize that my friends would do something like that. I am very pleased with this book and i would reccomend anyone to read it even if you are an adult. There are a lot of ways that you could find your own humor in this wonderful novel.
