It's Labor Day weekend - and it is turning out to be a holiday that will not soon be forgotten. More than 15,000 ravers have gathered for a 72-hour dance party at the waterfront warehouse in Philadelphia. Kat is strung out on drugs and next to her lies the body of a dead boy who overdosed; Heather falls in love with a college freshman who threatens to leave her with nothing but feelings of rejection and serious regret. Experiencing firsthand the dangers of an unguarded heart, the girls are forced to reevaluate God's true place in their lives.
This is a surprisingly great book. The cover of the book caught my eye and I read the first few pages in the store I was in and just had to get it. This is very surprising since I really dispise reading. I finished the book in a very short amout of time and I went out to find the books that came along with it.

Whatever you do, don't start reading this book . . . unless you plan to finish it in one reading. It's excellent!! As for the whiners who have spent far too much time stoned at rave parties to be objective about the problem, I say take off your glo-stick, remove the pacifier from your mouth, come up for some fresh air and get a clue. Even Oprah and Dateline have featured in-depth stories on the widespread abuses in the rave scene. No question, this is a well-researched book that's right on target. LaHaye and DeMoss not only deliver the goods, they've created a page turner worth every penny. My favorite characters were Reverand Bud and those two BAAAAAD Russian dudes. DeMoss and LaHaye are All the Rave in my book!
very good

I found this to be an excellent book. There seems to have been a lot of research put into this novel. The person that wrote that other review seems to be a little convicted. There are so many deaths, directly or indirectly, linked to raves. Armed with just a search engine I was able to find dozens of news articles relating to the deaths of ravers. So it seems as though the guy that wrote that other review is just oblivious to the fact that raves really can be dangerous, and in some cases, deadly. I commend the author of this book. It was very interesting and very informative. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
