Chandra was having a bad day anyway, but then that cat..."Starts with a galactic Ma Bell and the equivalent of the Wichita Lineman on the run from thugs demanding an object Chandra's never even heard of, then throw in space pirates who steal party supplies, a cat who's even more a law unto himself than most felines, and oddball planets where the inhabitants have deified Fifties TV sitcom characters or the drunks in the gutter at night are lawyers in court by day. It all adds to make All the Marbles a highly entertaining ride." - Lee Killough, author of Wilding Nights"If you've missed Douglas Adams, you'll laugh with relief when you read All the Marbles." - Selina Rosen, author of Queen of Denial and Recycled"Rainbolt taps into the heart of science fiction; all that can be imagined is possible. All the Marbles is fast-paced, outrageous, and of a cosmic scale. Rainbolt will take you on a trip far from home, a trip well worth taking." - Gary Moreau, author of Almost Human"Crossing screwball comedy with space opera, Dusty Rainbolt's All The Marbles is a fast, funny take on far-future shenanigans and some eternal verities, like corporate monopolies and human idiocy. Readers will love this wild space chase after a mysteriously valuable object through galaxies far, far away with spunky heroine Chandra Solomon, a large cast of oddballs along for the ride, and Ivan the topdog cat." - Carole Nelson Douglas, author of Cat in a Neon Nightmare
What a fun, fast paced reading experience. I am a big SciFi fan, so I am very picky about the whole genre. This book I could not put down. I was chuckling, smiling and/or laughing the whole read through. I plan on reading it over at least several times to absorb all the little details. If you have read and liked "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" you will love this book.
Good clean fun....

From a take-off of everyone's least favorite party-driven pyramid marketing scheme (Galway) to a description of the plots of soap operas, Dusty Rainbolt's 'space opera' is a laugh a page. If she chewed anything at all while she was writing this tongue in cheek epic, I'm sure Dusty would have done some damage. Well done! I can't wait for the sequel!
Excellent Book!

All the Marbles is a quirky book which gives you a wild ride through the Galaxy with Chani Solomon. Left stranded by her partner, Tyrus, who bet their ship and van in a card game and got himself killed, she's being pursued by various aliens who want a couple of seemingly worthless stones. Somewhere along the way she join Wright and his cat, Ivan The Terrible. Really funny with good twists and turns. You'll meet all sorts of wacky aliens, including a group who worships Lucy and Ricky. Too funny! You'll enjoy it.
A MUST READ Sci-comedy

Channie represents the real modern woman. She is smart, strong, and funny, but genuinely quirky. Her "mad cap" adventures take her from the land of Bitter to a place resembling Fantasy Island. A few good times, lots of bad times, a hint of romance, and one very dirty litter box. Its a non-stop galactic rollercoaster !!!
A Wortthy Blend of Douglas Adams with the truth of cats!

From the opening in a dingy bar, to showing how earth's TV transmissions can affect alien society. This rollercoaster ride of fun and thoughtful speculative fiction brings about a new must read voice. Dusty Rainbolt must have read all the "Hitchhikers Guide" novels and decided to take only the good lessons taught by Douglas Adams. Our protaganist works for the succesor to "MA" bell in space and her life is going ok until her partner and co-worker up and dies. Now she is left broke, depressed, and the uneasy owner to a very unique cat. With twist and turns in every chapter, you are kept laughing and groaning on every page. Laughing at the absurdity of the world, while groaning at the situations in which she finds herself. % stars I give it and you might find yourself wishing for a way to give it six!
