I bought this book because I read some of Jamie's other books and absolutely loved them. All the Little Lights starts out slow. I almost stopped reading, but after the second or third chapter, the story picked up and then I was a gonner. I tried to predict what was going to happen next but I never could. The ending was definitely unexpected, and still fantastic.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had the whole summer love story that went with this book. It seemed a little slow but the twist ending had me like omg what just happened. It starts of with Elliott who comes to visit his aunt every summer and Catherine who lives there. They hang and start to like each other then her dad dies. On top of that Elliott is forced to leave without saying goodbye and Catherine dislikes him when he comes for senior year there. Shes having home problems but no one suspected they'd be this bad.
