I really enjoyed the other books in this series and loved the Sookie Stackhouse books but...way too much casual killing. CH wrote a book titled A Secret Rage that kind of repulsed me and this just reminded me of it in the way that people are offed left, right , and center without a blink or more than a millisecond of regret or concern. I'm sure it was great therapy ro write but not at all to read.
