Whatever spiritual atmosphere there is in Chicago it is what you Christian people have made it. If it is a low ebb, it is your own doing; if it is at fever heat, it is your own doing. Examine yourselves and may God speak to you through my lips and through the words of my mouth, and I pray that God will take my whole being and interpret Himself to you through me, that I may become a channel through which He can interpret Himself.
