All of Baby, Nose to Toes

Yes, sometimes I buy a book not just because I KNOW my son will love it but because I simply can't stop looking at the wonderful illustrations ! The rythm and rhyme of the text will make it easy to read and highly enjoyable to toddlers who are known to have a short attention span. It also helps introduce new words to the baby. Just buy the book already !

love the graphics in this book- the story is so cute, but the colors and paintings are what drew my attention first. bright, cheery and well written.

Everybody's babies are special from head to toe. The eyes are oh so precious and are just right for playing "peeka-peeka-boo." Mothers especially love their baby's eyes. Babies have cute little button noses that sniff, wrinkle, honk when they blow them and go "kerchoo." Grandfathers especially love those little noses. Everything is very special about a baby. Their little ears, their tummies, legs, and toes make them sweet. "Baby's got a tummy a plump little tummy Smooth and tight as a drum-drum-drummy. Pitta-pitta-pat tummy. What a round fat tummy. Who loves that tummy? Me! I do." This is a charming, lively little book that would be perfect to read to a little bitty baby. I loved the rhyming sequence and the adorable artwork meshed quite well with this story. This is the type of book that just invites a parent or caretaker to have a fun interactive time with a young child. My favorite illustration was when an older child, a sister perhaps, gave the baby a raspberry on her belly. The wide mouth and the closed eyes tell it all. If you want a darling little book all your family members can share with "baby" this is one you might want to consider!

This is an adorable book with sweet illustrations and an infectious, bouncing rhythm. I've been giving copies to every baby I know (and making sure that I have one to keep)! Who loves this book? Me, I do!
