All Dressed Up

This set of paperdolls is a little girls dream come true. The dolls and the clothes are all very sturdy. Also it has six of the Disney Princesses with easy to put on clothes. My five year old can dress them on her own. They are just good old fashion fun!!

Before buying this, I had read reviews of how beautiful the dresses in this set are, but I was still pleasantly surprised when I got it in the mail. There are so many dresses, and all gorgeously rendered. This book contains 54 dresses in all, so 9 for each of the 6 princess dolls, and many of the outfits are interchangeable. You get a brilliant selection when it comes to dressing the dolls; there are the classic dresses that they wear in the movies and elegant and sparkling new designs. There are also some nice accessories such as crowns and gloves. The dolls and dresses are all printed on nice cardstock paper, so they will be durable. And they punch out easily, so it's not a hassle to for your little girl to remove (small children may need help with this part). Also, I have gotten the dresses to stay on just fine (there's a few that fall off). I think the problem some customers experienced were due to the general trouble that young girls have with paper dolls that are held on with tabs. So, for those who want to give this to a very young child (4 or 5, or maybe younger), I suggest getting some double sided tape or stickies to hold the dresses on. Just trim off the tabs with scissors. It works very well for little hands who may have trouble with tabs, and it's very easy to change dresses. I am an adult, and I've started to use some of my paper dolls like this because it's so much less frustrating than tabs. All in all, this book if simply fantastic. So many dresses, and all so beautiful! For $9, it is a steal. Don't let your Disney Princess fan miss out on this gorgeous book! I am even getting a second copy.

This book is wonderful! There are 8 sets of outfits, one for each girl in a set. The sets include Gold, sparkles, nightgowns, simple/peasant, princess outfits, wedding, spring, winter, and ballgowns. Each outfit is beautiful, unique, and cleanly drawn and colored (no weird versions of dresses or micolorings like old paperdolls). The colors and designs are stunning. Most dresses come with cute accessories, like crowns or bouquets. I have no idea what people are talking about when they say the punchouts are difficult, some dresses were halfway out simply when I turned the page.
