I home school and LOVE this book. I actually looked it up to send the link to a friend who wants to buy her own copy after seeing mine. This book has all the holidays that your grade school child will be exposed to in the USA. It covers what the holiday is in a way that is short and sweet, but still has facts that you did not know and covers why people celebrate that day. It has chinese new year, groud hogs day, cinco de mayo, Mother's day, Father's day, etc.
