This came in far better shape then the description!

I didn't use this particular book in high school but I very much plan on using it in our homeschooling curriculum because the algebra one book was fantastic. I love that these books are well designed and that they have answer keys, and a formula cheat sheet in the back. I regret taking these book for granted as a kid. But looking back at what these offered, I definitely appreciate them now.

Full of profanity!

Ordered this book for a math curriculum for my son and the entire inside cover front and back were filled with profanities. I know the books are second hand, and I expected some wear and tear and possible writing, but this was a lot!

Excellent purchase

I began homeschooling when the pandemic hit, which has been a small blessing in disguise as far as homeschooling is concerned. I have always pondered the idea, but I needed a push. This book is a wonderful addition to our fairly new journey! I've been drawn to all aspects of math my entire life, but since it's been 20 years since graduation and a test just as long, the DC Heath teachers edition of Algebra II is my new best friend. I cannot see having my children sit at a computer all day "learning" or be unhappily masked up for 8 hours in a school that just wanted them there for the money anyways. I am thrilled with my purchase and can't wait to find more of the DC Heath educational textbooks to add to our collection. I am having an excellent time learning while teaching! I feel like a kid again, one that has always loved learning.

BEV'S REVIEWS

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MOST, IS IF THERE ARE MISSING PAGES, MISSING CD'S WHICH ACCOMPANY THE BOOK OR IF THERE ARE MUSIC CD'S WHICH HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED, THEREFORE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE NEW PURCHASER TO REGISTER THEM.

Great textbook!

The textbook came exactly in the condition listed. I like this book because it is simple and shows examples for each section and chapter without getting too wordy or complicated. I also recommend the Geometry book as well. Great textbook! Highly recommended!

Just what was needed.

The book is exactly what we needed. Although it is designed for California, it works perfectly in Puerto Rico.

Excellent service

The book is in the shape it was described and the shipping is very quick. Excellent service

Review and reply to that of the teacher from Chicago, IL

I have used another book from this series, Algebra 1, and I felt that it was great at explaining everything. Maybe it was partly because of my having a wonderful teacher, however I felt that it did a wonderful job of explaining things. In response to that of the teacher in Illinois, I would just like to say that maybe the 6th graders didn't understand it because Algebra 2 is a high school course, normally taught in that of 11th grade according to the New York State Curriculum. I feel that her comment on the book should be considered invalid, just because of her lack of explanation, and of the time that she is teaching it. I also feel that if Illinois is teaching Algebra 2 in 6th grade, that they had better change their curriculum, because not even the most advanced 6th graders can take in a good understanding and comprehension of the complex subject at that early level. Please rethink your decision, because from what Illinois is doing, we can find that it probably has a terrible Mathematic curriculum, and that if it doesn't do something soon, they will have many kids failing in the future. I fully recommend this book as it covers all topics neccessary, and has the ability to explain the complexity of the topics to not only a student being taught by a teacher, but also a student reading the book in order to catch up on work.
