Album: Cuentos Del Mundo Hispanico (comes with CDs) (Spanish Edition) Me gusta este libro porque la majoridad de los cuentos son muy cortos y no son tan dificil de traducir. The CD has different readers, each with the accent of the country of the story. Very helpful for learning linguistics.

A collection of short stories written in Spanish from various parts of the world. Each story is followed by grammatical review and instruction. I wonder why it's as expensive as it is, though. I blame the publishing company and probable ties to the stupid college/university institution of the USA. Education should be only for the wealthy, of course. That's how society advances, of course. I'm being sarcastic, of course.

This text, especially the second edition, has worked very well in intermediate Spanish classes. The students have especially enjoyed "Cajas de carton" and "Una carta a Dios." The activities provided for each story engage students in both the language and grammar as well as the content and themes.
