A beautiful and delightful visit to British gardens, hosted by Alan Titchmarsh, one of Englands most well-known gardeners. I too love Ground Force and this book, written prior to the series premiere, has much of Titchmarsh's warm personality displayed on it's pages. A must have, for Titchmarsh fans, or anyone who just loves to garden or likes beautiful gardening books.
A Gardner's Treat

I truly enjoyed this book. As a die-hard fan of "Ground Force" (Alan's show which is broadcast on BBC America) it was like having a visit with Alan right in my own home. And, since I also am interested in Britain and everything British, touring the different gardens - famous as well as not so well known - made reading the book a double pleasure. The pictures are beautiful. And the descriptions are like walking through the garden paths with a friend. If, like me, you're a fan of Alan, a lover of Britain and the British, or just a fan of gardens and gardening I think you'll find this book a welcome treat.
